Pasca kunjungan Prabowo Subianto ke Moskow pada 13 April 2026 dalam rangka memperkuat kemitraan strategis IndonesiaRusia di tengah dinamika global, RUDN University menyelenggarakan seminar bertajuk “Doing Business in Indonesia” di Saint Petersburg, Federasi Rusia. Seminar yang dilaksanakan secara luring pada 22 April 2026 ini ditujukan bagi para manajer, profesional ekspor dan investasi, serta spesialis pengembangan bisnis yang bekerja denganatau berencana memasukipasar Indonesia dan ASEAN.
Selain menghadirkan praktisi bisnis dan ekonom dari Rusia, kegiatan ini juga mengundang Dr. Dona Budi Kharisma, dosen Hukum Bisnis dari Fakultas Hukum Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS), sebagai narasumber. Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Dr. Dona berpartisipasi secara daring dan menyampaikan bahwa seminar ini memberikan analisis komprehensif mengenai struktur ekonomi Indonesia, agenda reformasi, potensi dividen demografis, sektor industri unggulan, serta karakteristik budaya bisnis nasional. Penekanan utama diberikan pada strategi praktis memasuki pasar serta navigasi kerangka regulasi bagi investor asing.
Dalam paparannya yang berjudul “Legal Framework of Investment Climate in Indonesia (Guidance for Foreign Investors)”, Dr. Dona mengulas desain kebijakan investasi Indonesia, termasuk positive investment list, prioritas sektor, skema investasi terbuka dengan persyaratan, serta perlindungan terhadap usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM).
Keterlibatan dosen UNS dalam forum internasional ini mencerminkan peran aktif perguruan tinggi dalam mendorong kampus berdampak (impactful university), yakni institusi yang tidak hanya berfokus pada pendidikan dan penelitian, tetapi juga memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam diplomasi akademik, penguatan kerja sama internasional, serta penyebarluasan pengetahuan strategis bagi dunia usaha global.
Selain itu, partisipasi ini juga selaras dengan pencapaian Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), khususnya:
- SDG 4 (Quality Education): melalui diseminasi pengetahuan dan kolaborasi akademik lintas negara;
- SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth): dengan mendorong pemahaman investasi yang berkelanjutan dan inklusif;
- SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure): melalui penguatan ekosistem investasi dan inovasi;
- SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals): dengan memperluas kemitraan global antara institusi pendidikan, pemerintah, dan pelaku usaha.
Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini tidak hanya memperkuat posisi UNS di kancah internasional, tetapi juga menunjukkan kontribusi nyata perguruan tinggi Indonesia dalam mendukung pembangunan berkelanjutan dan peningkatan daya saing ekonomi nasional di tingkat global.
“Lecturer of the Faculty of Law of UNS Became a Speaker at RUDN University (Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia)”
After Prabowo Subianto’s visit to Moscow on April 13, 2026 in order to strengthen Indonesia’s strategic partnership in the midst of global dynamics, RUDN University held a seminar entitled “Doing Business in Indonesia” in Saint Petersburg, the Russian Federation. The seminar, held offline on April 22, 2026, is intended for managers, export and investment professionals, as well as business development specialists who work with or plan to enter the Indonesian and ASEAN markets.
In addition to presenting business practitioners and economists from Russia, this activity also invited Dr. Dona Budi Kharisma, lecturer in Business Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Sebelas Maret (UNS), as a speaker. On this occasion, Dr. Dona participated online and said that this seminar provides a comprehensive analysis of Indonesia’s economic structure, reform agenda, demographic dividend potential, superior industrial sectors, as well as national business culture characteristics. The main emphasis is given to practical strategies to enter the market as well as navigation regulatory frameworks for foreign investors.
In his presentation entitled “Legal Framework of Investment Climate in Indonesia (Guidance for Foreign Investors)”, Dr. Dona reviews the design of Indonesia’s investment policy, including positive investment list, sector priorities, open investment schemes with requirements, as well as protection of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
The involvement of UNS lecturers in this international forum reflects the active role of universities in encouraging campus impactful impactful universityuniversities, which are institutions that focus not only on education and research, but also contribute to academic diplomacy, strengthening international cooperation, and the dissemination of strategic knowledge for the world of global business.
In addition, this participation is also in line with the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in particular:
