FH UNS Perkuat Kerja Sama Internasional Melalui Konferensi, Penandatanganan MoU, dan Workshop di Curtin University Malaysia

FH UNS – Sebagai bagian dari skema Internasionalisasi Pembelajaran Kemahasiswaan, Fakultas Hukum Universitas Sebelas Maret (FH UNS) melaksanakan rangkaian kegiatan akademik internasional di Curtin University Malaysia pada 3–5 Desember 2025. Kegiatan tersebut meliputi partisipasi dalam konferensi, presentasi hasil penelitian, penandatanganan Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), serta seminar dan workshop bersama mitra internasional.

Pada 3 Desember 2025, delegasi FH UNS menghadiri SBTAI Conference 2025 yang diselenggarakan di Curtin University Malaysia dan disambut oleh Dr. Mohammad Belayet Hossain. Dalam kegiatan ini, perwakilan FH UNS, Rachma Indriyani S.H., LL.M., PH.D., mempresentasikan paper berjudul “Challenges & Opportunities in Implementing AI for Halal Tourism.” Presentasi ini menjadi kontribusi FH UNS dalam pengembangan diskursus internasional mengenai pemanfaatan kecerdasan buatan pada sektor pariwisata halal.

Pada 4 Desember 2025, FH UNS melaksanakan penandatanganan Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) dengan Curtin University Malaysia. Penandatanganan dilakukan oleh Professor Vincent Lee Chieng Chen selaku Pro Vice-Chancellor, President, and Chief Executive Curtin University Malaysia, serta Dr. Muhammad Rustamaji S.H., M.H. selaku Dekan FH UNS, didampingi Rachma Indriyani S.H., LL.M., PH.D. selaku Ketua Tim Kerja Sama Luar Negeri FH.
MoU ini menjadi dasar penguatan hubungan akademik dan peluang kolaborasi internasional antara kedua institusi.

Rangkaian kegiatan internasional kemudian dilanjutkan pada 5 Desember 2025 dengan penyelenggaraan seminar dan workshop yang disampaikan oleh Prof. Billy Sung dari Curtin University Australia. Kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari upaya penguatan kapasitas akademik dan pembangunan jejaring internasional bagi sivitas akademika FH UNS.

Kegiatan ini mendukung pencapaian SDG 4: Quality Education, karena mendorong peningkatan kualitas pendidikan melalui kolaborasi akademik dan pertukaran pengetahuan pada tingkat internasional. Selain itu, rangkaian kegiatan ini juga selaras dengan SDG 17: Partnership for the Goals, karena memperkuat kemitraan global antara UNS dan Curtin University Malaysia melalui penandatanganan MoU dan kolaborasi berkelanjutan.

Melalui kegiatan ini, FH UNS menegaskan komitmennya dalam memperluas jejaring internasional, meningkatkan kualitas akademik, serta memperkuat perannya sebagai institusi pendidikan hukum yang berdaya saing global.

UNS Faculty of Law Strengthens International Cooperation Through Conferences, MoU Signings, and Workshops at Curtin University Malaysia

FH UNS – As part of the Internationalization of Student Learning scheme, the Faculty of Law, Sebelas Maret University ( FH UNS ) is carrying out a series of international academic activities at Curtin University Malaysia on December 3–5, 2025. These activities include participation in conferences, presentations of research results, signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), as well as seminars and workshops with international partners.

On December 3, 2025, the UNS Faculty of Law delegation attended the SBTAI Conference 2025 held at Curtin University Malaysia and was welcomed by Dr. Mohammad Belayet Hossain. In this activity, the UNS Faculty of Law representative, Rachma Indriyani SH, LL.M., PH.D., presented a paper entitled “Challenges & Opportunities in Implementing AI for Halal Tourism.” This presentation is the UNS Faculty of Law’s contribution to the development of international discourse on the use of artificial intelligence in the halal tourism sector.

On December 4, 2025, FH UNS signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Curtin University Malaysia. The signing was carried out by Professor Vincent Lee Chieng Chen as Pro Vice-Chancellor, President, and Chief Executive of Curtin University Malaysia, and Dr. Muhammad Rustamaji SH, MH as Dean of FH UNS , accompanied by Rachma Indriyani SH, LL.M., PH.D. as Head of the FH Foreign Cooperation Team .
This MoU is the basis for strengthening academic relations and opportunities for international collaboration between the two institutions.

The series of international activities continued on December 5, 2025, with a seminar and workshop presented by Prof. Billy Sung from Curtin University, Australia. This activity is part of an effort to strengthen academic capacity and build international networks for the UNS Faculty of Law academic community .

This activity supports the achievement of SDG 4: Quality Education, as it encourages improvements in education quality through academic collaboration and international knowledge exchange. Furthermore, this series of activities aligns with SDG 17: Partnership for the Goals, as it strengthens the global partnership between UNS and Curtin University Malaysia through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and ongoing collaboration.

Through this activity, FH UNS affirms its commitment to expanding its international network, improving academic quality, and strengthening its role as a globally competitive legal education institution.
